Irma

The Loggia is the princilple greeting area to the house and garden. I needed to create a dramatic first impressing for the arriving guests both during the day and the night. I chose to use rough cut Amethyst which catches the light and sparkles and an unassuming shell. The two natural materials complimented each other wonderfully. Once I saw the space lit by floor candles and I was stunned by the exciting effect the candle light had on the cut amethyst.
