Rosalita

The next door tiny island was being enlarged weekly by the dumping of hundreds of empty conch shells. Rachel and I spent two days going there and picking the 250 shells that were needed to create the dinning room frieze. A brilliant local craftsman sliced the tips off the shells so that they could be placed at the perfect angle.

The corridor waves were created using small white cay cay shells, used in different directions.
